Hotel Maitai Polynesia Bora Bora Review

The Hotel Maitai Polynesia Bora Bora has a pleasant feel set as it is along white sands and turquoise waters with large palms. It has a colorful tropical garden seemingly always in flower. You feel the place exuding a certain warmth the moment you arrive.

The hotel proposes an extensive configuration of bungalows and rooms from which to make your choice. On the lagoon side, the Maitai enjoys a long stretch of wonderful beachfront offering overwater bungalows, a well-situated bistro, and an easy-going bar.

All beach bungalows offer splendid views extending out over the lagoon to Motu Piti Uu Uta and on to Raiatea & Tahaa.

The bistro and daytime bar can be found in the area between the beach and the bungalows in the first photo above. It’s truly one of the most aesthetic places to stay in all of the Society Islands.

On the mountainside side, there is a range of rooms that climb the hillside. Those at the higher levels offer dazzling views over the lagoon.

The view shows the colors of the water change constantly before your eyes, which makes for a vista no other resort on Bora Bora offers.

Views from the hotel

There’s a more formal restaurant & evening time bar in the garden area of the hotel.

The Maitai, of course, is close to the area’s many attractions, including Matira Beach. You also have fine dining, many of the larger tour operators, WWII cannons, a small supermarket, and even one of Bora Bora’s better-known tattooers.

The Maitai is operated by the same organization that runs the Intercontinental Le Moana &andThalasso Resorts. The real beauty of Hotel Maitai is its approach to marketing.

It’s a hotel that likes the feel and the ambiance that comes with being full and will market accordingly to get your patronage. This is a hotel where you can secure a great deal if the moment is right. They have a myriad of different packages, so contact them directly to see.
